Friday - our 2nd and last day working on the firestation

Paul, who is heading up the project and has taken an unpaid leave of absense from a Washington state fire department stopped by and gave us a tour of the facilities.

This was the water filtration we used while in Guatemala. We did not get sick, so it must have worked very well. It is a gravity fed system. We were very impressed by the Rotary clubs. Both the water filter systems and the fire department was being funded by Rotarians in Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Washington.
Pounding out nails has really hard work.
Lindsey took a moment break to pet the family dog "Jerry".
